three things thursday

1. It was actually really nice to go into work yesterday and see all the people I do conference calls with in my jammies.  It reminds me that I really, really like my job.  Not enough to want to take showers and get dressed up every day, though.  Don't be ridiculous.

2. Another good test run yesterday.  I don't feel like I'm out of the woods yet, but I'm getting there.  I'm still doing treadmill only runs (can't WAIT to get back outside), so I know I'm not working as hard as I'd be outside, gasping and swimming my way down the street, but this pace feels easy.  I like it.

Total: 2.25/20:00/avg. pace 8:53

3. My running/swimming/and most recently biking buddy is moving to Denver today.  I don't want to talk about it.

p.s.  I know it's July, someone told me.  I probably won't get to the wrap-up until next week.  You're sad, I know.

  1. Where are you working now? (I should know this)

Your job sounds like a dream.

  2. LOL! I'm jealous you get to work at home all day! In your jamies, NOT showering! Hahaha!
And, even though I told ya already, NICE job on the dreadmill run! And it's always nice when you don't fall off that damn thing!
    Have a good Thursday!

  3. Hey!!!? Where did my previous comment go? WTF?
Well, it went something along the lines of, "good job on your run," or something like that. Damn blogger.
    happy thursday

  4. Oh, it was there - I'm an idiot. Ignore the second comment. And while you're at it, you can ignore this one, too.

  5. Man, goodbyes are no fun. But, that does give you *two* reasons to come to CO (soon). ;) ....just sayin.

  6. Nothing better than working from home! Sorry to hear about your training partner, but a good excuse for a trip to Denver!

  7. "Out of the woods" is pretty much all we can ask for when it comes to injury recovery. Glad to hear you're (cautiously!) pain-free!

  8. Geeez you are fast. Even post-injury! I don't think I ever just run a sub-9:00 pace!!! Uh.... I might seriously try to convince you to jump in and run the last 3 miles of my Sept. half marathon with me!

  9. Fingers crossed for continued pain free running.

I met with my client today and it was so nice to meet face to face and work out some issues. But, working whenever I can squeeze in a few minutes, certainly works for my life right now.
