I started off Friday with an early morning bike ride with twitter friend Joe! We headed up the MV trail and, due to a detour, went over the 14th St bridge into DC. We had a great ride, and (I know you're tired of the DC pics, hush) I snapped this shot of the Lincoln:
Gorgeous!
We headed up to Georgetown later in the day for lunch and a cupcake.
The line was a bit long, as usual.
Chocolate birthday cake is my fave.
Julie really enjoyed her cupcake.
After the cupcakes, we walked around Georgetown for a bit, and ducked in to see the new Apple Store, where I had to go incognito.
Our afternoon was delicious. How was yours?

my 4 pm cupcake - also from G-town, courtesy a coworker's goodbye party - was coconut and divine. I only had beer for dinner at the Nats game to compensate :)
ReplyDeleteyou always seem to be eating amazing food and it always makes me hungry! those cupcakes look amazing!
ReplyDeleteawww i've heard good things about that cupcake place! i am snobby though, because i never like bakery cupcakes. i baked my sister's wedding cake and 250 cupcakes of 4 different flavors with piped frosting. (yes, i am a HUGE snob.)
