three things thursday

1. I HATE the elliptical.  Aqua jogging I can tolerate when I have people to yap with, and the stationary bike I don't mind because I think of it as junk cycling miles.  This week I'm trying to lay off the stationary bike and just concentrate on my outdoor recovery rides, but I need to do something on the in-between days, so I'm back on the elliptical.  It's just so dull, and so tough to read my book AND get my HR up.  Ugh.


2. I'm hoping that the crazy egyptian man will clear me to run this weekend at PT today.


3. Still eating ice cream every day.  Hope is lost.

  1. I start physical therapy tomorrow for my right shoulder...wonder if I can still run with the dogs? Need PT from an EMS patient on Saturday. She broke me.

  3. It's ok. I got pb and oreo soft serve at JP Licks last night. After eating an entire bowl of vermicelli. Oh, and then I ate 2 cookies. HOPE IS LOST.

  4. I know exactly how you feel - I was there last year and I nearly put a bullet in my head when I was on that damn thing!

  5. I don't eat ice cream every day, but I eat a LOT when I do. That is all.

  6. My plan this morning was to get up early and use the elliptical. Couldn't make myself do it. Had it been a run, a bike ride, or even weights I'd be fine with that - but those weren't feasible today for a variety of reasons. I used to love the elliptical, now I dread it.
