three things thursday

1. Normally, work is relatively low-key, but I think somehow everyone has activated their Spidey sense and realized that I've been traveling, because every time I get off a plane my phone EXPLODES with messages about things that are broken.  Oy. 2. I think I'm going to try my first walk/run outside today, instead of on a treadmill.  Scary.  Hold me. 3. Of course, the puppy.  We were taking him over to our friend's house for his slumber party while we're in NM. 'sup ya'll. Happy Thursday!

weekend in new hampshire with my GIRL!

This past weekend, I went up to NH to visit one of my best friends.  When I got in on Thursday night, we went to La Festa and had garlic and beer amazingness . On Friday, I worked through the early afternoon, then we went to the gym, then off to Chipotle for dinner.  Now, I am not a Chipotle person.  I am a Qdoba person, and usually folks are bitterly divided about which is better.  I had the taco salad on Friday night and it was actually pretty yum!  Still not as good as my main man, the Qdoba taco salad.   Thumbs up for Chipotle. We went to see some crazy movie with animatronic squirrels but ended up seeing "How To Train Your Dragon," which was INCREDIBLY cute and I'm so glad we skipped out on the Brenden Fraser fail flick. On Friday, we went down to Boston to walk the Freedom Trail .  I lived in Boston for a year, but I was poor as dirt and never did anything except practice.  I actually never really did any free activities, either...

Well, let's take a look at April's goals, shall we? April Goals Set a post-injury 5K PR (this post-injury PR thing is THE BEST) Finish the Cherry Blossom 10M ( another  post-injury PR! amazingpants!)  Finish the Cherry Blossom 10M NOT being chased by the tail car Teach the puppy how to shake (he has a mental block about it) Stop spitting on people while running Get back in the stupid pool, pending doctor okay Buy some new sports bras so I can stop wearing 2 at a time Add 1 fruit/veggie to my day Do 1 actual speed workout (let's be realistic here, people) Get a bikini wax BEFORE it gets to the point that the woman says, "You have the werry bad hairs." Run with someone new (I'm looking at you guys!) Ha.  Ha.  BWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  Right.   So here's how I actually did....
